Our Commitment to Accessibility
Worldwide Escape Rooms is committed to providing a digital experience that is inclusive, usable, and accessible for everyone. Our mission is to ensure that all visitors — including people with disabilities — can access information, participate fully, and enjoy our content without barriers. We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the UK Equality Act 2010.
 
Measures We Take to Support Accessibility
To ensure accessibility across our website, we:

• Integrate accessibility into our design and development processes

• Use clear, consistent navigation and page structure

• Provide alternative text for meaningful images

• Maintain strong colour contrast for readability

• Ensure text is resizable and readable on all devices

• Use accessible forms with clear labels

• Test content with assistive technologies

• Train our team in inclusive design principles
   

Conformance Status
Our goal is full compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. At present, the Worldwide Escape Rooms website is partially compliant, meaning most content meets accessibility standards, but some areas require improvement.
Known areas for enhancement include:

• Strengthening keyboard focus indicators

• Adding additional ARIA landmarks for complex sections

• Ensuring all multimedia has captions or transcripts

• Further testing of external forms for screen‑reader compatibility

• Publishing detailed accessibility guidelines for partner venues

• Expanding captioned and audio‑described media
